Andrea R. Martin

Andrea joined Veliz Katz Law as the new Family Law attorney. She is passionate about advocating for her clients and assuring they receive excellent legal representation. Andrea speaks, reads, and writes English and Spanish fluently.

Andrea was born and raised in Miami, Florida. From there, Andrea traveled to New England where she obtained her bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. Andrea then went to law school and graduated from the University of Massachusetts School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate degree.

While in law school, Andrea was the head of her Business Entities Clinic where she assisted locals with setting up their Non-Profit organizations. Additionally, around the same time, she had the wonderful opportunity of being an intern at the Legal Services Center at Harvard Law School where she provided legal services of all kinds to clients. There, she provided clients with assistance regarding their family and tax law matters, by collaborating with attorney T. Keith Fogg and counsel at the Innocence Project. Andrea is deeply committed to promoting the rights of those who lack the means to represent themselves.

In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, painting, attending farmers’ markets and hanging out with her cat, Koda.
